This year SampleSolutions has continued its tradition of taking place at international conferences and workshops in order to get acquainted with the new trends in market research and social research but also to present its latest work as well. With regards to that, we are happy to share with you that we have been accepted for a participation in the 2018 International Workshop on Comparative Survey Design and Implementation and AAPOR in Denver. The workshops will take place at Mary Immaculate College, Limerick in Ireland in the period from 26th to 28th March 2018 and mid-May in Denver, USA.
The workshop audience will consist of influential companies from social research, data research, and the survey industry. Sample Solutions will have an opportunity to inform the audience about its Data Centralized Vault application under the paper named “OnDemand Sampling Hub for CATI Projects Globally”. Using the ShinyApp platform of R, Sample Solutions gives an answer to the current lacking of centralized knowledge when it comes to RDD sampling and all needed parameters related to it.
This is not everything that Sample Solutions is going to offer to the audience. Its second paper “Using Big Data to Sample Ethnic Minorities in Western European Countries: Muslims”
outlines the sampling approaches of targeting Muslims in non-Muslims countries. It describes the selection of a target audience based on three main methodologies: list-assisted sample approach, geo-targeted RDD sample approach, and social media approach.
